Breeding Stock

Our breeding program emphasizes successful breeders in the pasture and flavorful meat on the plate.

Our principal breeding bull, named Diamond Pete, was born in 2011 in Saucier, Mississippi, and is a composite of the Hickman/Griffen/Diamond/Seales lines. Our original eight heifers, which came from Poplarville, Mississippi, are made up of the Hickman, Ladnier, Griffen and Diamond lines. Lines developed under the stewardship of the various families who gathered up herds of feral Pineywoods cattle and claimed them as their own.
